Recent Graduated Theatre Arts/TV Film/NJIT Theatre Students:
Gail Frankel
I graduated from Rutgers in 93. I worked closely with
the professors at NJIT as we had a "combined" Theater Arts program.
Most recently I just finished a show Off Broadway Called
"Stop! Look! Listen" with a company called Musicals Tonight. I am working with
a voice teacher who had worked on Broadway. His name is David Sabella. I have
also booked a job for 3 months this summer in Indiana doing the shows "Fiddler
on the Roof" and "Young Abe Lincoln". I will also start work on a cabaret show
to be performed in NYC. No solid plans on that yet.
I also made MANY professional contacts in the professional
theater world from the staff at NJIT. I am called into many auditions because
people recognize "William Gile" on my resume. Having worked with a TONY nominated
director has helped in the professional world.
Also working with a well published (and produced) playwrights
as Michele Rittenhouse has been a boon to my career. I have had some excellent
call backs from using Michele's work for auditions. I have also had the pleasure
of performing in some of that work as well.
The staff is an excellent source for me even now that
I have graduated. I have had an EXCELLENT education and would put it up against
anyone at ANY school.
Thanks
